Racing Club was a tango quintet based in Amsterdam, an argentine/dutch group in which a new generation of musicians put its mark on the tango tradition (to quote the web site). This group did our own arrangements, and Quinteto Réal, Guardia vieja, Troilo, Garello and Pugliese. It featured also a singer, Maria José Ortíz, and Martijn van der Linden, violin; Santiago Cimadevilla, bandoneón; Marcos di Paolo, guitar; and Daniel Lehmann, bass.

Orquesta Amago was one of the few orquesta típicas of Europe. This group had two bandoneons, three violins, cello, bass and piano. We played for dance; that was the purpose. These samples are from two sources: the first, A la gran muñeca, was recorded for our demo, and the last two, Romance de barrio and Oblivión, were recorded live in concert.

Hernán Ruíz is a fantastic argentine guitar player living in Amsterdam. He plays tango and folkloric beautifully. Along with Hernan, this Trio had Juan Otero on guitarrón, and Dario Polonara on bandoneón. These recordings are from a live gig at the Vondelpark, Amsterdam, and i was guest pianist. It is more or less a la parrilla.
