After discovering tango around 1998, i began teaching tango piano too. And i have always improvised, always been comfortable with inventing music in the moment. Teaching improvisation to me is more a matter of teaching to be relaxed and free and letting music happen, getting out of the way-- which helps, of course, with the playing of all music.
